Client Guide and Paralegal Mentor

After experiencing firsthand the difficulties of caregiving without planning for family members, Barbara brought her decades of legal experience to elder law. Devoted to providing service, Barbara has been our drafting Paralegal Mentor, specializing in complex problem solving, and now also serves as our Client Guide to onboarding attorneys as they engage Back Office Drafting, LLC for their drafting needs. 

Barbara loves the learning she gains in her service with the wonderful attorneys we work with. In her personal time, you’ll find Barb studying esoterica, symbology, and ancient world history. She says she loves seeing the threads that make us who we are today. And, there is always something new and exciting to discover. According to Barbara, Life is good!

Welcome Coordinator

Brittany has been working in customer service since the age of 16, with ten years of this time dedicated to working with veterans. She currently works as Legal Proofer with Back Office Drafting, where she has grown along-side the company for eight years. In addition to Brittany’s advanced legal proofing skills, which have earned her the moniker “Eagle Eye”, she utilizes her strong administrative and clerical skills to aid BOD with the creation of CIMIs and with working on Funding matters. She finds fulfillment in the work BOD provides, knowing it helps people set aside estate worries and focus on life with their families. Family is a priority to Brittany, who, when she isn’t working for BOD or working toward receiving her BA in Sociology, can often be found chasing her 5 year-old and her Army Ranger husband at the beach near her home in Savannah. When Brittany finds a moment to relax, she loves to snuggle up with her dog, a warm cup of coffee, and a great book!

Proofreader and Drafting Assistant

Gina brings her background of process implementation, together with her detail-oriented nature to our team to help ensure our documents are correctly prepared.  Being a mother to two young children herself, she particularly enjoys creating documents for families planning for minor children. She loves being able to help families through her work and that she is able to do so together with a team of strong women.  Gina enjoys expanding her knowledge and is glad she is able to grow as a person through her work.  Gina’s loyalty and reliability make her one of our key team members as she never fails to help another teammate and can always be counted on.

Gina is also pursuing a degree in psychology and criminal justice. In addition to enjoying being a mother, Gina also enjoys cooking, exploring, the outdoors and photographing nature.

Accountant

Jeannie brings the skills that served her in her first career at Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Headquarters to our team. Her ability to manage the variety of invoicing and tracking needs we have, allows us to provide timely, accurate billing information to our clients. We love the thoughtfulness she puts into her work, always making sure information is clear, precise and remains responsive to our client’s requests. We are thankful she came out of retirement to collaborate with our team. Jeannie enjoys living in Inverness with her husband, enjoys visiting with her children and many grandchildren!

Drafting Paralegal  

Jessica has been working as a legal assistant and/or paralegal with Estate Planning, Business Law, and Real Property Law attorneys for seven years. During this time, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate of Paralegal Studies and Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Jessica now works strictly from home as an independent virtual paralegal, and as a Drafting Paralegal for Back Office Drafting where she gets to utilize her love of the written word to help create customized language in estate plans. While working from home, she also homeschools her two boys. When she isn’t working or schooling, she is usually found cheering on her boys at the baseball fields, on stage acting with a local community theater, enjoying a good book, spending time with friends and family, or taking care of her home and the four dogs and three and “a half” cats who live there (the “half” is a neighborhood stray that manages to come visit for a few hours around dinner every evening…

Client Service Coordinator  

Kassandra has been working in various customer service positions, including management positions and an administrative assistant position, for nearly 10 years. She has an Associate of Arts in basic studies and has a deep love for organization and scheduling. Kassandra is able to utilize her natural talent and love for organization and scheduling in her current position as the Client Services Coordinator for Back Office Drafting; her skills are vital in helping keep the rest of the BOD Team working smoothly. Kassandra is a native Texan, who has spent all of her 27 years in the Lone Star State. When she is not working, Kassandra loves crafting and listening to music (another great love of hers, though she has never learned to play any instruments.) She also enjoys spending time with her favorite people, her two nieces and her nephew, and her cat

Proofreader and Drafting Assistant

Nikki comes from an eclectic and full breadth of life and work experiences - consistently bringing to each new adventure a strong enthusiasm for learning new skills, and commitment and willingness to stretch beyond her comfort zone.  Her favorite parts of her work responsibilities here at Back Office Drafting are working out solutions to make things as clear and concise as possible, and the ability to take complex data and simplify it for better understanding. Nikki is depended upon for her problem-solving, her dry wit, and her brilliant eyes for detail.   In her own time, Nikki loves reading sci-fi and fantasy, cooking comfort food (yes, she is an excellent chef), and camping with family.  She is enjoying her new abode with her husband, and particularly loves clear sunny days, cleverness, and entertaining the cat.

Director of Process Improvement and Quality Control 

Sam is a self-proclaimed “quality nerd” with a passion for process improvement. With well over a decade of combined experience in Estate Planning and Quality Review Management of Federal Background Investigations, she has sharp attention to detail, a commitment to integrity, and a drive for continuous improvement for herself and those around her. She relishes in deep diving into issues and developing solutions in uniquely challenging circumstances. Her life motto is that our greatest accomplishments are not the ones that we achieve ourselves, but those of others we helped along the way. In her free time, she is an aspiring artist, lover of plants and wildlife, who lives with her husband, two sons, and all the animals her husband will allow her to keep.

 Drafting Paralegal and Legal Proofreader 

Tammy is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and received her paralegal certificate from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies.

She has over 20 years of experience working in the legal field for several firms in York in various areas of practice. For the last 15 years, she has focused on the preparation of estate planning documents and probate. With this broad basis in many areas of the law and more specialized knowledge in estate planning and elder law, she is a great resource for law firms who use our services.

Tammy enjoys spending time with friends and traveling. She has many tales of the adventures they have shared. She is always eager to hear of the travel experience of others.
